My name is Elana Feeny, and I am a Junior at the University of Iowa. I am a Communication Studies major with a minor in Human Relations, and am an active member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority on campus. And I am obsessed with my dog, Lily, who is half pug half french bulldog!
Why were you interested in joining this campaign?
I was interested in joining this campaign because I want to be able to spread the message of why it is important to vote in the presidential election. I also am excited to learn more about the campaign, and it is motivating me to do more research on each of the candidates.

Why were you interested in joining this campaign?
I ran for county supervisor when I was eighteen-years-old to encourage young people to become more politically active. I’ve been interested in politics since I was very young and want to encourage members of my generation to vote and make their voices heard.

I believe voting is a very important civic duty of the American people. We must do everything we can to educate millennials and get them to the polls!

Why were you interested in joining this campaign?
I am currently a Politics Major at the University of Virginia and I feel my involvement in this campaign, as an outside experience, would be a great way to further expand my studies.

What I think is fantastic about this campaign, and interested me in joining, is the goal of strengthening the millennial voice in this election. It is so important for young people to be educated on government and politics, to use the power of their voices in the media, and to vote!

I’m pretty fascinated that we can access information in the blink of an eye. With that information, social media is a powerful outlet to gauge what society feels about the world around them. The #HowDoUFeel campaign is congruent with the way society operates today.

Why were you interested in joining this campaign?
I have never been interested in politics or followed any past presidency campaigns. With all the jokes surfacing the internet, I felt that I needed to be more informed and aware of the reality of our next president. Joining this campaign gave me the opportunity to register to vote and get involved.
